1. Scope of Application
These Terms of Use apply to all online counseling services offered by the provider. They govern the contractual relationship between the provider and the client when appointments are scheduled directly via email or other personal communication channels.
If an appointment is booked via a third-party platform (e.g. “It’s complicated”), the terms and conditions of that provider shall apply.

3. Services Offered
The provider offers online counseling services, primarily in the form of individual sessions. All services are delivered online, and the exact scope and content of the sessions are defined individually with each client.

4. Appointments and Cancellation Policy
Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, or the client fails to attend without notice (no show), the full session fee will be charged.
In exceptional personal circumstances, a goodwill arrangement may be considered. However, the final decision remains at the sole discretion of the provider.

5. Fees and Payment
The session fee is communicated individually and is payable either:
– in advance, or
– within 14 days after receiving an invoice via email.
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer and PayPal.
In cases where services are booked through a third-party platform, the applicable payment and refund terms of that platform apply.

6. Confidentiality
All information shared during sessions is treated with strict confidentiality. The provider complies with professional standards and ethical obligations concerning the handling of personal and health-related information.
Disclosures to third parties will only be made with the client’s explicit consent or when required by law.

8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of Sweden. Place of jurisdiction is Gothenburg, Sweden.
